In a major crackdown on corruption, the Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau successfully carried out a trap operation in Rajouri, arresting a Power Development Department (PDD) inspector for accepting a bribe of ₹30,000.

According to officials, the accused officer had demanded money from a complainant in exchange for facilitating official work. The complainant reported the matter to the ACB, which then laid a trap and caught the officer red-handed while accepting the bribe amount.

The operation highlights ongoing efforts by authorities to curb corruption in Jammu and Kashmir. Further investigation into the case is underway.
