The father of Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid, named Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, was moved on Saturday from SMHS Hospital to Srinagar airport for advanced medical care in Delhi.
He had been receiving treatment at the hospital and was taken by a critical care ambulance to the airport, where arrangements were made for his airlift to the national capital.
The ambulance, was equipped with intensive care facilities and staffed by a medical team including Consultant Anaesthesia Dr. Syed Faisal Andrabi, Senior Resident Dr. Muhammad Adam Khan, and Anaesthesia Technician Munir Ahmed Shaikh. Two attendants, Faisal and Er Rashid’s son Abrar Sheikh, also accompanied the patient.
According to officials, the patient was referred to Delhi for specialized treatment due to his medical condition, and all necessary precautions were taken during the transfer from the hospital to the airport. Earlier, MP Engineer Rashid had returned from the hospital after visiting his unwell father.
