In a major organizational overhaul announced by BJP chief Nitin Nabin on Monday, former Union Minister Smriti Irani has been brought back into the party’s top leadership, taking on the role of National General Secretary.
The restructuring also sees Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal being elevated to the position of National Treasurer.
A notification issued earlier today revealed that ex-National General Secretary Ram Madhav has been included on a roster of 13 National Vice Presidents, a panel that features six women, among them former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia and Rekha Verma.

In a notable shift within the party’s digital operations, Amit Malviya has been removed as the head of the IT Cell, with Deepak Mhaskey from Chhattisgarh stepping in to fill the role. Meanwhile, Anil Baluni has been retained as the Media-in-Charge.
