NC finalises plans for protest at Jantar Mantar

Formal invitation letters will be sent to all political parties in Jammu and Kashmir, with Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah personally writing to their respective leaders

Senior leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference met Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah at his residence in Gupkar, Srinagar, to review and finalize arrangements for the party’s proposed protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

In a statement, the party said, during the meeting, it was resolved that all constituent parties of the INDIA Bloc, along with other political parties in Jammu and Kashmir, would be formally invited to participate in the protest.

The statement further reads that it was also decided to send invitations to leaders of parties that are not part of the INDIA bloc but are also not aligned with the NDA.

Formal invitation letters will be sent to all political parties in Jammu and Kashmir, with Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah personally writing to their respective leaders, inviting them to join the protest.
