U.S. President Donald Trump said a deal to halt the war on Iran could be signed as soon as Sunday, but Tehran disputed the timeline, saying a signing could happen in the “coming days.”

Iranian media reported that Tehran has not yet made a final decision on the framework agreement, as Qatari negotiators flew to Iran to help conclude the deal. The semi-official Fars news agency, citing an anonymous source, said no final decision had been reached despite Trump’s earlier announcement.

Trump’s Sunday schedule included no mention of a signing ceremony. A Qatari delegation, led by an adviser to the country’s prime minister, arrived in Iran to advance negotiations.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military issued forced displacement orders for residents of 29 towns and villages in southern Lebanon. A senior official from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Iran’s military, diplomats and public are working “together towards a common goal of protecting the rights and interests of the Iranian people.”

Separately, Israeli ministers Smotrich, Sofer and Ben-Gvir renewed calls for attacks on southern Beirut after Hezbollah drone attacks on northern Israel.
