Shooting stones were reported again on Thursday at Dungi Pulli between Karol Bridge and Chanderkote Masjid along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, causing disruption to vehicular movement in the area.

Officials said that due to continuous stone shooting from the hillocks, traffic has been diverted through the down tube temporarily as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of commuters.

Authorities have advised passengers and drivers to remain cautious while travelling through the stretch and follow traffic advisories issued by the administration. (KNC)
