The JK Centre for Peace and Justice (JKCPJ) on Saturday successfully organized the first chapter of Season 2 of its flagship “Let’s Connect” initiative at Badamwari, Srinagar, bringing together around 60 participants in a warm, open, and engaging environment.

The session was designed to foster meaningful human connections while encouraging open conversations around mental health in a serene outdoor setting. Participants actively engaged in a series of interactive activities, including Perception vs Person, Soul on Paper, and Miscommunication Chain, which added depth, reflection, and energy to the overall experience.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Nadir Ali expressed optimism about the growing impact of the initiative and reiterated the organization’s commitment to hosting more such sessions in the future.

Advocate Sharika Zargar underscored the importance of creating safe and supportive spaces, noting that individuals are more likely to open up about their mental health when they feel secure and understood.

Sharing her experience, a participant, Rutba, highlighted that connecting with non-judgmental individuals remains one of the most valuable aspects of such gatherings.

The session concluded on a reflective note, reaffirming the importance of building inclusive spaces where individuals can express themselves freely, feel heard, and experience a sense of belonging.
