In response to U.S. strikes on southern Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for attacks on the United States Fifth Fleet in Bahrain and a U.S. airbase in Jordan.
Meanwhile, Kuwait has reported that it also came under Iranian attack.
The U.S. military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that it conducted “self-defence strikes” against Iran after Iranian forces shot down a U.S. helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.
Separately, the Israeli military announced that it targeted Hezbollah rocket launcher sites and infrastructure used for launching attack drones in southern Lebanon’s Tyre region and several other locations.
According to Israel, six sites were struck in Tyre, while “loaded and ready-to-launch launchers” were hit elsewhere in the south. Alongside these claims, the Israeli military released grainy aerial footage showing airstrikes on houses and rural areas in Lebanon.
