Centre reshuffles AGMUT cadre, Shahid Choudhary moved to Arunachal, Tanushree to Delhi

The transfers have been ordered with immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders, the Ministry said.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday ordered a major reshuffle of AGMUT cadre officers, transferring and posting several IAS and IPS officers across Union Territories and northeastern states, with Jammu and Kashmir witnessing significant changes.

According to an order issued by the Ministry, senior IAS officer Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (2009 batch) has been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh, while Swati Sheemar (2023 batch) has been posted from J&K to Delhi.

In exchange, Saugat Biswas (2006 batch IAS) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir. Mamta Yadav (2021 batch IAS) has been moved from Delhi to J&K, while Ishita Rathi (2022 batch IAS) has been transferred from Puducherry to the Union Territory.

Among IPS officers, Tanushree (2017 batch) has been shifted from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi. Rajesh Kumar Sharma (2014 batch) has been transferred to Chandigarh, while Deepika (2018 batch) has been posted to Puducherry.

The order further states that IPS officers Gaurav Sikarwar, Arshi Adil, Vishnu Kumar, K.M. Priyanka, Rajeev Kumar Ambasta, Deepak Yadav, Anand Kumar Mishra and Satish Kumar have been posted to Jammu and Kashmir from Goa, Delhi and Chandigarh.

Among other IAS transfers, Vivek Pandey, Garima Gupta, Pawan Kumar Sain, Amjad Tak, Ajay Kumar Gupta, Awanish Kumar and Sweta Nagarkoti have been posted to Delhi from Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, DNH&DD and Lakshadweep.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Goel and Rishita Gupta have been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh, while Arava Gopi Krishna has been posted to Ladakh. L Kumar has been shifted to Puducherry, Kesavan R to Lakshadweep, Bhupesh Chaudhary and Shashanka Ala to DNH&DD, R Giri Sankar to Puducherry and W Punshiba Singh to Lakshadweep.

Other IPS transfers include Vivek Kishore, Sindhu Pillai A, Chinmoy Biswal, Ajay Krishan Sharma, A Koan, Varsha Sharma, Jitendra Kumar Meena, Anil Kumar Lal, Manjeet, Geetanjali Khandelwal and Satyawan Gautam to Delhi; Nabam Gungte, Rishi Kumar and Angad Mehta to Arunachal Pradesh; Pukhraj Kamal and Lokeshwaran R to Delhi; Vinit Kumar to Chandigarh; Gaurav Tyagi to Delhi; Tikam Singh Verma and Arshi Adil to Jammu and Kashmir; Utkarsha to Delhi; Pawan Kumar to Ladakh; R Subash to Delhi; Sikandar Singh to Puducherry; Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Nishant Gupta and Amit Kaushik to Mizoram; Patel Aalap Manshukh to Lakshadweep; and Shweta Singh Chauhan to Goa.

The transfers have been ordered with immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders, the Ministry said.
