A 30-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in the Laroo area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Abdul Salam Sheikh, a resident of Laroo.
Soon after the incident, the Tehsildar Kulgam, along with police officials and a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), reached the spot to assess the situation and initiate necessary procedures.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of death. (KNC)
