Before You Submit
An op-ed is an opinion-driven article that presents a clear argument supported by facts, evidence, and reasoning. At Kashmir Outlook, we value diverse perspectives. Opinions expressed in op-eds are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the editorial position of Kashmir Outlook.
Submission Guidelines
- Articles and news reports should be between 700 and 1200 words.
- News reports must be complete, fact-based, and include verified information and official quotes wherever applicable.
- We do not accept proposals, outlines, or incomplete drafts – only finished submissions will be considered.
- All submissions must include:
- Full name of the author
- Residential address
- Valid email address
- We do not accept anonymous submissions or pseudonyms.
Editorial Process
Kashmir Outlook receives a high volume of submissions daily. Due to space and editorial considerations:
- Only a limited number of contributions are published.
- Submissions are reviewed by our editorial team, including senior editors.
- Selection is based on relevance, originality, clarity, factual accuracy, and public interest value.
Response Time
We strive to review submissions promptly. However, due to the volume of entries:
- If you do not receive a response within 4 days, please consider that your submission has not been selected for publication.
