British screenwriter and producer Jemima Goldsmith has married Irish-Australian financier Cameron O’Reilly in a private ceremony, according to a confirmation from Goldsmith’s sister-in-law.
Goldsmith, 52, who was previously married to former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, and O’Reilly, 62, became engaged in May after dating for more than a year. The couple reportedly met through their work in film and documentary production.
Jemima Jones, who is married to Goldsmith’s brother Ben Goldsmith, confirmed the wedding in an Instagram post on Sept. 13. She shared a photograph of herself and Ben from the celebration and described it as a happy day, without posting a photograph of the newlyweds.
O’Reilly, who was born in Dublin and holds Irish and Australian citizenship, studied at Oxford and previously worked at Goldman Sachs and in his family’s media businesses. He founded private equity firm Bayard Capital in 2003.
Goldsmith runs Instinct Productions and has worked as a screenwriter and producer. Her credits include the documentary The Bibi Files, the 2022 film Joyland, the docuseries The Clinton Affair and the television drama Impeachment: American Crime Story.
She married Khan, a former international cricketer, in 1995. They divorced in 2004 after nine years of marriage and have two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan.
Goldsmith and O’Reilly had not publicly commented on their marriage at the time of publication
