A case under FIR No. 131/2026 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation is underway.

In another operation at Magrey Mohalla, Aishmuqam, police during routine naka checking apprehended a suspect who attempted to flee upon noticing the checkpoint. He was identified as Mudasir Ahmad Gilkar of Magrey Mohalla, Aishmuqam. During search, around 17 grams of a heroin-like substance was recovered from his possession. A case under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act has been registered.

In a third naka checking operation at Rangkadal, Aishmuqam, police intercepted another individual attempting to evade the checkpoint. During search, approximately 13 grams of a heroin-like substance was recovered. The accused was identified as Mehraj-u-Din Bala of Peer Mohalla, Aishmuqam. A separate case under the NDPS Act has also been registered.
