Trump says he and Xi Agree to keep Iran from having nuclear arms

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he held discussions on Iran with Chinese President Xi Jinping, stating that both leaders agree Iran should not acquire nuclear weapons and emphasized the importance of keeping the straits open.

The two leaders met at Beijing’s heavily secured Zhongnanhai complex as Trump concluded his state visit to China.

“We’ve resolved many issues that others wouldn’t have been able to solve,” Trump said.
